what you can typically expect

They’ll ask questions and examine you:
- What pain or issue you have
- When it started and what makes it worse/better
- Your job, sports, daily activity (important for you as a production operator)
- Previous injuries
They may also:
- Check your movement (bend, twist, lift, etc.)
- Test strength and flexibility
- Feel the muscles/joints (hands-on)
✅ 2. Hands-on treatment (manual therapy)
This is the main part. It can include:
- Massage / soft tissue work – loosens tight muscles
- Joint mobilisations – gentle movements to improve joint motion
- Manipulation (quick adjustments) – sometimes a small "click"
What is the after care
✅ 1. Advice & exercises
They’ll usually give you:
- Simple exercises (mobility, strength, posture)
- Tips for work (lifting, standing, machine work posture)
- Advice on recovery (ice/heat, rest, activity levels
What to wear
✅ 1. To wear / bring
- Comfortable clothes (shorts, t-shirt)
- Be ready to move/stretch
- Bring details of your problem if needed
Session length
✅ 1.Single session
- Usually 50 minutes
- First visit often longer due to assessmen
After session
✅ 1. Post Treatment
- You may feel looser or less stiff immediately
- Or slightly sore for 24–48 hours
- Major improvement often comes over a few sessions
Home Recovery Plan
You may be given some homework exercises to complete. These will follow a clear, structured rehabilitation plan that combines mobility work, stretching, and strengthening exercises to improve movement, support recovery, and rebuild strength
When you arrive at the clinic
When you arrive at the clinic, please take a seat in the waiting area. Your therapist will come and collect you at your scheduled appointment time.
